RFTS 18 Now Open, RFTS 17 Record Number of Applications

TEAMER’s 18th Request for Technical Support (RFTS 18) is open and accepting applications for marine energy testing, expertise, and commercialization support through June 5, 2026. 🌊⚙️⚡ Start an application here.

RFTS 17 closed last Friday, February 6, with more than 70 applications submitted—the most ever in a single RFTS round. Included in these applications were the first requests for Commercialization support, a category which was newly added last round.

TEAMER personnel have already begun conducting compliance checks and preparing to assign applications to expert reviewers to start working through this record-breaking number of applications. This process takes some time, so thank you for your patience. All applicants will be contacted with next steps once reviews are complete, at which point approved applicants may begin preparing their test plans with their facility partners.
