Facility Overview
The WEC Modeling, Simulation and Control Lab has the capability of modelling of ocean wave energy converters, low fidelity and high fidelity simulations, and control design and optimization of wave energy converters. The lab PI is Dr. Ossama Abdelkhalik who is expert in modeling and control of ocean wave energy converters; he has seven patents and numerous journal and conference publications on this topic.
