
Marine Energy Converter Assessment Software at Sandia National Laboratories
Facility Overview
The Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office has funded development or augmentation of numerous modeling tools to specifically address Marine Energy (ME) challenges that hinder the sector’s technical and overall advancement. One of the tools, DTOcean, was co-developed with several international partners. The modeling tools listed below can support technology development, control and design, resource characterization, and environmental compliance.
