When developing the application and technical approach, applicants should take into consideration that TEAMER non-open water support activities should take place within a 9-month access period. Define clear and concise technical objectives, describe your technology, outline your technical approach, and the metrics you’ll use to assess the results. RFTS Schedule and Timelines
Requests for Technical Support (RFTS) applications can be submitted at any time but are only reviewed after the closing date for each RFTS period, which occurs about every four months. Applications are accepted through 11:59 p.m. Pacific time on the due date; submissions received after that will be considered for the next RFTS round. All applications must be submitted through the online application system.
RFTS 19 – Due Friday, October 2, 2026
RFTS 16 – Nov. 2025 – July 2026
RFTS 17 – June 2026 – March 2027
RFTS 18 – Oct. 2026 – July 2027
RFTS 19 – Feb. 2027 – November 2027
