TEAMER Post-Access Requirements

All Technical Support Recipients (TSRs) are required to complete the following Post Access Requirements upon the conclusion of their TEAMER access period. Failure to complete these items may restrict participants’ future TEAMER opportunities.

  • Upload of data to the Marine Hydrokinetic Data Repository (MHKDR)
    • Facility partners may complete this task if mutually agreed upon; however, TSRs remain ultimately responsible for ensuring the satisfactory upload of required data.
  • Submission (and revision if necessary) of a Post Access Report (PAR).
  • Upload of approved Post Access Report(s) to MHKDR
    • Include both Public (redacted) and Full (non-redacted) versions if applicable.
  • Completion of a Post Access Survey.

The project will not be considered complete until all the above items are received and approved (if required).

Upload Data to MHKDR

TSRs are ultimately responsible to ensure the following materials are uploaded to the TEAMER DOE MHKDR:

  • Data demonstrating progress towards meeting the objectives identified in Sections 6 (Project Summary) & 8 (Assistance Data) of the original application
  • All scripts and data used to generate all figures, tables, and charts in the Post Access Report. TSRs are advised that artificially limiting the number of figures in the final report (to avoid disclosing underlying data) will be considered non-compliance with final reporting requirements and will not be approved.

TSRs may choose to protect data for up to five years, at which time the data will be made public. This data moratorium is consistent with DOE’s data requirements for funding. TEAMER Technical Board members will have access to view the data to ensure it complies with the listed requirements and adequately supports the project’s Post Access Report.

This link will auto-populate several required fields within. Please do not change already populated fields if possible.

Post Access Report

TSRs are responsible for submitting a Post Access Report upon the completion of their technical support activities. Reports must utilize the TEAMER Test Plan/Post Access Report template.

Template for Numerical Modeling, Lab & Bench, Tank/Basin/Tunnel/Flume, Expertise support

TSRs may work with the facility to complete this report, however it will be the responsibility of the TSR to coordinate and submit the report unless otherwise agreed upon. TSRs may submit two versions of the report for review if a redacted copy is necessary to protect sensitive intellectual property. Whenever possible, reports should be submitted in Word format rather than PDF to ease any potential revisions. All reports will be reviewed by the TEAMER program for completeness and to ensure the work product is clear and concise. Reports, both public and private, should be submitted for review at https://teamer.submittable.com/submit/290303/post-access-report-submission-portal.

Upon approval, TSRs must upload reports to the project’s MHKDR upload. If two versions of a PAR were submitted, both versions must be uploaded to MHKDR after approval. As with data uploads, TSRs may choose to protect confidential versions for up to five years.

Post Access Surveys

Both the TSR and a Facility representative must each submit a Post Access Survey response. Once the Post Access Report has been submitted to the Network Director, TSRs will receive emailed notification of the survey as an additional form available in Submittable. Facilities can access below.

Optional: Results Dissemination Support

Once these required steps are complete, TSRs or facilities may wish to continue sharing the results of their tests through conference presentation or publication development. To mitigate barriers that would discourage these efforts and promote knowledge sharing, TEAMER provides assistance for these efforts. Click to learn more.
