Southwest Research Institute offers a variety of modeling and software support for marine energy. Included in this support is environmental modeling services, numerical modeling and support for the use of NASGRO fracture mechanics and fatigue crack growth software.

SwRI provides our clients with comprehensive environmental services and research based on our decades of experience in environmental science and engineering. We provide rigorous, unbiased, and conflict-of-interest free analyses to facilitate societally and environmentally responsible decision making. We offer more than 20 years of experience supporting organizations with environmental impact assessment responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Our highly qualified team includes scientists and engineers in health physics, geology, geochemistry, hydrology, seismology, geophysics, biology, and related technical fields. We also apply laboratory and field capabilities to characterize local environments and assess various risks and remediation concerns.

State-of-the-art computational tools using large-scale numerical simulations are developed and applied by Computational Mechanics Section technical staff at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) to solve a broad range of client problems.
