As of today, a new type of TEAMER support is available: Commercialization.

For years, TEAMER has provided testing support for Marine Energy technology at research facilities across the country: numerical modeling, lab/bench, tank/basin/tunnel/flume, expertise, even open water testing. But developing a functional, durable, innovative marine energy device is just the beginning.

How do you bring that marine energy technology to market, turn all of that work into a profitable company? It’s a complex situation that presents a whole new set of challenges requiring entirely different areas of expertise.

Good news: through TEAMER’s Facility Network, fully vetted organizations are available to help navigate this shift from R&D to market entry. Environmental Science Associates, Factor Growth, Rare Innovation, VentureWell, and yet2 (and more to come) have joined the network to offer support in funding continuity, financial management, community engagement, marketing & outreach, market identification, IP strategy, business development, marine energy education, planning expertise, investor engagement, and more. Visit the Facility Search page to find an organization to partner with here.

Commercialization support will be available in all future Requests for Technical Support, starting with the current round (open through February 6, 2026). Get started today!
